Click HERE to complete the 2020-2021 school year Bags of Blessings application.
Bags of Blessings is a food security program that provides food packs to qualifying school children from low income families during weekends and school closures. Due to COVID-19 and Madison County School System’s decision to begin the first 9-weeks of school virtually, we will provide weekend Bag of Blessings through the school’s grab-and-go lunch line or through the school’s lunch delivery program each Friday. Upon returning to traditional face-to-face school, the food packs intended to sustain a child through the weekend will be distributed on Fridays at school to qualifying students. Please complete the application regardless if your child received Bags of Blessings last school year. A new application is required. Due to these uncertain times, it is important that you share your correct contact information, including: cell phone and address. If your contact information changes throughout the year, please be sure to contact The CARE Center to update your information. This is how we will reach out to you with updates regarding Bags of Blessings, Christmas Store and CARE Packs (school supplies.) You are welcome to complete and submit this form online (be sure to upload proof of income) or print and mail (be sure to include proof of income) to: P.O. Box 51, New Hope, Al. 35760. If you need assistance filling out application or have any questions, please call: 256-723-2273.
