Crisis Services

Crisis come in different shapes and sizes! The CARE Center’s well-trained staff are here to provide resources and support to our neighbors in crisis. If you are a neighbor living in the Brownsboro, Gurley, New Hope or Owens Cross Roads zip codes and find yourself in a crisis situation, please call our administrative office at 256.723.2273.

If you need assistance and are outside of our service area or need assistance outside our office hours, please dial 2-1-1 (just like 9-1-1.) This is a statewide database of resources that will be able to help you find assistance based on your location and need.

The CARE Center has limited funds to provide financial assistance to neighbors who are truly in need. We have two data bases, one is a county wide data base shared with many other non-profits, churches and organizations. These enable us to decrease duplication of services and better track those who are abusing the generosity of others. It also helps us to better serve those who are truly in crisis with real time assistance-in the past we would refer neighbors to different resources without always knowing if funding was available. Now we can know before we refer them!

The CARE Center does its due diligence to ensure we are being good stewards of the blessings we have received. We want our donors to be able to donate with confidence that their good deed is being used as intended!

To make a financial donation to The CARE Center for crisis services, please click on the “DONATE NOW” tab at the top of this page or mail a check made payable to The CARE Center to P.O. Box 51, New Hope, AL 35760 and be sure to notate for Crisis Services. Thank you!
