Scholarships Availability

The CARE Center offers 3 scholarships for senior students (graduating in 2024) at two area schools: New Hope High School and Madison County High School.

These scholarships are available to students who show maturity, service, character, and concern for the well-being of all citizens. Applicants are encouraged to download and fill out the scholarships below. We look forward to your submissions!

The CARE Center’s Presidential Service Award

The CARE Center is offering at least one scholarship in the amount of $500 to a New Hope High School and a Madison County High School senior graduating in May 2024. Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding voluntarism, unselfish service and assistance to others, to the school and to the community. Applicants must have exemplified not only maturity, integrity and good character, but also a concern for the well-being of all citizens. Applicants must have a sense of pride and ownership in their community and school.

The Becca Abercrombie Excellence Award

Becca’s focus on Excellence has allowed The CARE Center to shine like a beacon of hope for so many!  To carry on her tradition of Excellence, for which she laid a strong foundation, The CARE Center presents the Becca Abercrombie Excellence Award.  The CARE Center is offering at least one scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to a New Hope High School and a Madison County High School senior graduating in May 2024 and who also meet the following criteria:

  • Must have attended MCHS or NHHS 9th thru 12th grades
  • Must have achieved Honor Roll status each academic year
  • Must have maintained an excellent attendance record (No more than three unexcused absences.)

The CARE Center’s Angela Hawke First in Family Scholarship

The CARE Center is offering at least one scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to a New Hope High School and a Madison County High School senior graduating in May 2024. Applicants must be the first in their immediate family to attend college/trade school; immediate family defined as-parents, grandparents, siblings. Applicants must have demonstrated maturity, integrity and good character. Applicants must have a sense of pride and ownership in their community and school.
