Thrift Store

The Care Center Thrift Store, located at 5039 Main Dr. in New Hope, Alabama, is a unique store that offers gently used items at affordable prices for every budget. We have everything from household necessities to one-of-a-kind treasures. Our donations come from the support of our friends and supporters. Revenue from the thrift store provides funding for the many ministry initiatives The Care Center has to offer. The thrift store also provides crisis assistant as needed and job opportunities as well.

We offer donation pick-ups!

We are unable to accept mattresses and tube televisions.

The CARE Center Thrift Store gratefully accepts the following items:

Gently used unbroken and unstained furniture items – beds, sofas, dressers, dining tables etc.

Gently used unbroken household items – appliances, dishes, paintings, etc.

Holiday decorations – all seasons.

Gently used children’s clothing.

Gently used adult clothing, both casual and professional.

Gently used adult and children shoes.

Fashion accessories – jewelry, purses, belts, hats, etc.

Gently used, clean children’s toys. Must be in working order and have all parts.

Clean, unwearable clothing, old shoes (even one shoe), purses, belts and hats. We are able to recycle these items for extra income. It would be helpful (but not necessary) if these items are bagged separately and labeled “Recycle”.
